Eiquí, onde é o Lugo noso, onde nacín e onde nazo cada día soubémonos sempre viaxeiros ás portas dun vello camiño fadado, dun vieiro antigo que foi, se cadra demasiadas veces, camiño de ida, camiño de marchar lonxe, sen a certeza dun retorno desexado.
Por ese sendeiro andei eu a carrexar todos estes anos o espello cativo da miña escrita coa pretensión de devolverlles algo que sempre fora de seu a aqueles que quixeron concederme o don prodixioso da fala nosa

Aquí, donde está nuestro Lugo, donde nací y donde nazco cada día nos supimos siempre viajeros a las puertas de un viejo camino hadado, de una senda antigua que ha sido, quizás demasiadas veces, camino de ida, camino de marchar lejos, sin la certeza de un retorno deseado.
Por esa senda he andado yo cargando todos estos años el pequeño espejo de mi escritura con la pretensión de devolverles algo que sempre ha sido propio de aquellos que quisieron concederme el don prodigioso de nuestra habla
