Deutsch: Europa von Walter Meierhofer. Ausgestellt vor der Berchtoldvilla in Salzburg.
In einem Begleittext auf Steintafel unter dem Titel EUROPA 2021 eine Zustandsbetrachtung schreibt der Künstler: Wirklich gesund ist Europa wohl nicht. Eher seekrank auf dem Rücken des Stieres. Aber es besteht Hoffnung, denn dieser ist dabei, auf Kreta Land zu gewinnen. Auch unser Kontinent, der der Tochter des Agenor und Schwester des Kadmos seinen Namen verdankt, ist nicht wirklich gesund. Er wird von allen Seiten bedrängt. Wie schaffen wir Einheit, ohne unsere Vielfalt aufzugeben? Wie schaffen wir es ohne Stier, unsere Richtung selbst zu bestimmen? Auch von Bären und Drachen als Reittiere ist dringend abzuraten! Mit Vertrauen in unsere Fähigkeiten schaffen wir das, weil Europa es uns wert ist! Im Sommer 2021. Übrigens, und das gilt nicht nur für Europa, wer passt auf unsere Meere auf? |
