At Fordham yesterday afternoon Miss Eva A. Briggs, daughter of John B. Briggs, was married to Abram O. Salter, a lawyer of this city. The ceremony took place at the residence of the bride's mother, the Rev. Frederick W. Anderson officiating. There were many floral decorations, and the wedding breakfast was by Clark. A reception followed, after which the bridal couple took their departure for the South. The presents were handsome and numerous. Among the guests were Judge and Mrs. Rufus B. Cowing, the Hon. William W. Niles, the Hon. Alexander Thain, Mrs. K. Wilson, and Mrs. E. Haskins.
