Description
English: Atlanta, GA, May 4, 2009 -- This FEMA visual display greets operational and planning personnel from all levels of government as well as private and academic sectors as they arrive for a discussion-based workshop regarding earthquake response in the New Madrid Seismic Zone(NMSZ). FEMA has an initiative underway with the eight NMSZ states to develop a catastrophic earthquake disaster response plan and Region IV is hosting this workshop to assess response to a NMSZ event.
