Beschrijving : Filmexpeditie naar de Goudkust in Afrika, in opdracht van cacaofabrikant Van Houten. Burgemeester d'Ailly van Amsterdam
Annotatie : Gisteren is de Nederlandse filmexpeditie, die in opdracht van de N.V. Van Houten cacaofabrieken te Weesp een film gaat maken over de cacaoboom, vanuit Amsterdam vertrokken. De reis gaat via Brussel, Parijs, Marseille, Algiers, El Golea, Insalah, Tamanrasset, Agades, Kano en Lagos naar Akkra aan de Goudkust, de haven van waaruit 40 procent van de wereldcacaoproductie wordt verscheept. Als cineast gaat mee Theo van Haren Nomen. De reis wordt gemaakt per ex-legertruck en zal enige maanden duren. Er worden twee films gemaakt, of eigenlijk een, een speelfilm, waaruit een documentaire over de cacao wordt gedistilleerd (bron Delpher)
