Description
Deutsch: Erstes Deutsches Fliesenmuseum Boizenburg: Eingangsbereich. Auf dem Fliesengemälde dargestellt sind der Dresdener Zwinger, Teile der Langgalerien und im Vordergrund eine höfische Festgesellschaft. Das Bild entstand etwa 1880 in der Dresdener Fabrik von Villeroy & Boch für eine Dresdener Schokoladenfabrik, wo es vermutlich den Eingangsbereich schmückte. Der Rahmen besteht aus verzierten Porzellanprofilen, teils vergoldet.
English: Erstes Deutsches Fliesenmuseum Boizenburg (First German Tile Museum Boizenburg): Foyer, entrance area. The tile painting depicts the Dresden Zwinger, parts of the long galleries and in the foreground a courtly party. The picture was taken around 1880 in the Dresden factory of “ Villeroy & Boch “ for a Dresden chocolate factory, where it probably decorated the entrance area. The frame consists of decorated porcelain profiles, partly gilded.
