Summary

edit
Description NZ artist Tiffany Singh, assisted by volunteers, will work in schools to develop a huge cluster of flags created by the children, expressing their hopes and dreams - one flag for themselves and one for the city of Christchurch. The flags will be stitched into strings in the manner of Tibetan prayer flags, with designs by the students interspersed with designs by the artist. The flags will then form a mass installation of colour and hope in the central city - close to the festival venue on the edge of the Arts Centre.
