English: : Fountain with sculpture by Mihály Pál (2001), include: dog, rooster, grapes, three allegorical women (three district of the city named after female). Kid playing with fish. Limestone, townscape significance. - Central Park, Gyömrő, Pest County, Hungary. Magyar: : Díszkút (ifj. Pál Mihály, 2001). A 'kútszobor', a kompozíció egy fa köré épül, mely az összefüggő erdőséget hivatott jelképezni. Az erdőből nőtt ki a három 'nőnevű' telep, természetesen nőalakokkal megjelenítve azokat. E nőalakok is jelképeket mutatnak be, szőlőt, egészséges, hallal játszó gyermeket, kutya a gazdájával. A korán ébredő kakas a legkorábban itt élőket, - 700 éve - az ősi falusiakat képviseli. Ne feledjük Gyömrő 500 éve református hitű közösségét sem, így a 'kakas' jelképként, az ő keresztyénségüket is megjeleníti az alkotáson. A kakas harmadik funkciója: Szemben a városháza kapujával, kukorékolnia illik, ha abban a házban a gyömrőiek érdekei, értékei védelme nem a kellő intenzitással történik. - Pest megye, Gyömrő, Szabadság tér, Az önkormányzati hivatal 'A' épülete előtti téren |
