English: pottery in the Archaeological Museum (Pitigliano)
Deutsch: Fragment einer attisch schwarzfigurigen Augenschale, um 530 v. Chr. Außenseite: zwischen den Augen eine Zweikampfszene; am Boden liegt ein Gefallener. Innenseite: Hirschkuh und (rechts) der Schweif einer Raubkatze. Darüber die Lieblingsinschrift „Lýkos kalós – Lykos ist schön“. Die Spuren einer antiken Reparatur (kleine, paarige Bohrlöcher entlang der Bruchkanten) zeigen, dass die aus dem fernen Athen importierte Schale zu wertvoll war, um einfach weggeworfen zu werden. Fundort: Pitigliano, etruskische Nekropole. Aufbewahrungsort: Pitigliano, Museo archeologico (Leihgabe(?) aus Florenz, Museo archeologico).
