Description

Depicted person: Napoleon III av Frankrike

Svenska: Åtsida:
Rund platta av förgyllt silver, porträtt av kejsar Napoleon III, halsbild,
profil h, slät bakgrund. Däromkring blåemaljerad ring med guldtext:
"LOUIS-NAPOLEON" samt nertill ett kors.
Frånsida:
Förgylld, rund platta, graverad text: "VALEUR // ET // DESCIPLINE" (!), punkterad botten.
Däromkring blåemaljerad ring.
Ytterst en lagerkrans av silver, omlindad upptill och nertill av korslagda band.
På kransen upptill ett blixtknippe och en därpå sittande Napoleonsk örn av förgyllt
silver med huvudet vänt åt h (framifrån), utbredda vingar. Blixtarna går ner på
lagerkransen på åtsidan, örnens stjärt går ner till den blå emaljringen på frånsidan.
På örnens huvud en ring och däri fäst en större, spiralformig bandring.
