English: Inscription at the south side of the Amanduskirche (Saint Amandus church) in Beihingen, a district of Freiberg am Neckar in Germany, dated 1500 (sic! the second glyph of the date at the top looks like a ‘4’, but was a ‘5’ in these times), describing the erection of a chapel by Peter Nothaft in that year; this chapel was destroyed later. Below the date the coats of arms of the Hallwyl family.
Deutsch: Inschrift an der südlichen Außenmauer der Amanduskirche in Beihingen, einem Stadtteil von Freiberg am Neckar, auf 1500 datiert (sic! die zweite Ziffer des Datums oben sieht wie eine ‚4‘ aus, war in jenen Zeiten aber eine ‚5‘), welche die Errichtung einer Kapelle durch Peter Nothaft in jenem Jahr beschreibt; diese Kapelle wurde später zerstört. Unter dem Datum das Wappen der Familie von Hallwyl. |
