Description Political cartoon. Former president Grover Cleveland (considered a possible candidate to run again in the 1904 Presidential election) paints a picture of himself as a spurned suitor, with signs giving explanations of issues from a decade or more earlier, as a woman "Miss Democracy" is wooed by other Democrats including (William Randoph) Hearst and (Alton B.) Parker (I think the figure in the small hat represents David Bennett Hill).
