The valley is part of the Mór Trench, Bakony and Vértes separating horst landscape. The dolomite, which almost exclusively makes up the mountains in the area, is 200 million years old when the area was covered by the sea. Over millions of years, the stream has carved a 4 km long gorge valley in which the bed falls 12 meters. In its rock walls 80-100 meters high, 16 caves are known. The surrounding mountains are around 200-250m a.s.l., their sides are covered with forest, rock grassland, rock slopes and rock debris fields. - part of Way of Mary (Section Csatka– Bodajk) trail, Red stripe Bodajk trail, National Blue Trail section 9, Gajavölgy (~Gaja Stream Valley), Bodajk, Fejér County, Hungary.
