City Hall, New Orleans, Louisiana. Early 20th century postcard view of Gallier Hall and adjacent buildings fronting Lafayette Square looking back and slightly up-river. This is a carnival scene (though the card does not mention this); a float is visible on St. Charles Avenue in front of reviewing stand in erected over the steps of Gallier Hall.
