Description
English: This red and white painted building was originally built and functioned as a primary school, known as Vallø Skole, from 1915-1942 before being turned into a housing complex which it still is today. It survived the British bombing raid at the end of World War II which left much of the Vallø community in ruins and 53 civilian dead.
Norsk bokmål: Denne rødhvite bygningen i Glassverksveien 24 på Vallø fungerte som skole fra 1915-1942 før den ble omgjort til boliger, noe den fortsatt fungerer som. Bygget overlevde både Britenes bombing av Vallø 25.april 1945 og en brann i 1.etasje den 10.januar 2010.
