Deutsch: An dieser Stelle entstand am 22. und 23. März 1945 eine 366 Meter lange Pontonbrücke, mit deren Hilfe Teile von General George S. Pattons 3. Armee den Rhein überqueren konnten.
English: A 366-meter-long pontoon bridge was built at this site on March 22 and 23, 1945, which helped parts of General George S. Patton's 3rd Army cross the Rhine.
