On its facade plaques, inscription: Gedeon Barcza (1911–1986), international chess grandmaster, eight-time Hungarian champion, writer was born in this house.//Foundation for Chess Culture/Móricz Zs. Alumni Circle of Friends/2013 AND Gyula Pallagi/1867-1903//The main grammar school lived in this house/first excellent headmaster/Uncle of Zsigmond Móricz/His memory was perpetuated on the occasion of the millennium/with gratitude in 2001/the Alumni Circle of Friends - In front of him is a bust of Zsigmond Móricz by Lajos Papi, Sándor Györfi (contributor) (Installed in 1996, bronze). Part of a listed architectural ensemble - 4 Széchenyi Street (Road 4201), Kisújszállás, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County, Hungary.

Előtte Móricz Zsigmond mellszobor Papi Lajos, Györfi Sándor (közreműködő) alkotása (Avatás 1996. szeptember 1., bronz)[1] Móricz Zsigmond 1899-ben az utóbbróla elnevezett gimnáziumban szerezte érettségi oklevelét. Az épület két homlokzatán is emléktáblák vannak az utcafronton: "Ebben a házban született Barcza József gimnáziumi tanár fia Barcza Gedeon (1911–1986) nemzetközi sakk nagymester, nyolcszoros magyarbajnok, szakíró.//Sakk Kulturáért Alapítvány/Móricz Zs. Öregdiák Baráti Kör/2013." És "Pallagi Gyula/1867-1903//Ebbben a házban lakott a főgimnázium/első kiváló igazgatója/Móricz Zsigmond nagybátyja/Emlékét a millennium alkalmából/hálával megörökitette 2001-ben/az Öregdiák Baráti Köre" - Vélhetően része a 2024-es nevén Móricz Zsigmond Református Kollégium, Gimnázium, Technikum, Általános Iskola és Óvoda (gimnáziumi rész) épületegyüttesének - '8.
