Holocaust plaque on a rock in the Park at the railway station, Slovenské Nové Mesto, Trebišov District, Košice Region, Slovakia.
Magyar:
Holokauszt emléktábla a vasútállomás (Kisállomás) melletti parkban. „1944 tavaszán tizenötezer zsidót telepítenek Zemplénből az épülő sátoraljaújhelyi gettóba.” Május 16-án vagonírozták be az első transzportot, 3439 személyt, a második csoport május 22-én indult megközelítőleg 3290 fő, a harmadik csoport május 25-én, 3320 fő, végül a negyedik csoport öregek és betegek június 2-án. A csoportok Birkenau-Auschwitzba érkeztek a megtévesztő »Arbeitmachtfrei« (a munka szabaddá tesz) feliratú kapuhoz.” A gyilkos eszme a deportáltak túlnyomó többségét megsemmisítette! A Holokauszt szörnyűségére emlékeztet a sátoraljaújhelyi kisállomás első vágánya mellett elhelyezett emléktábla .
