Commemorative plaque (left): The birthhouse of Károly Kaán 1867-1970, the forest engineer who created the foundations of post-Trianon forestry policy and nature conservation, stood here.//The memorial plaque was placed in his honour on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Treaty of Trianon by ZALAERDŐ Zrt. and the National Forestry Association. Commemorative plaque (right): In gratitude to Károly Kaán, the great lowland forester, the National Forestry Association and fellow foresters of his hometown. Nagykanizsa, October 1959. - Hunyadi Street and Rozgonyi Streetcorner, Nagykanizsa, Zala County, Hungary.
