The following is the author's description of the photograph quoted directly from the photograph's Flickr page. "TARIN KOWT, Afghanistan--General David McKiernan, Commander, International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), and troops from ISAF Regional Command South visted Tarin Kowt to meet with leaders from the local Afghan National Army Regiment on March 31, 2009. The vist gave McKiernan the opportunity to assess how things are improving for the ANA soldiers and their unit. The visit all so included an escourted walk around the ANP training camp to see the facilities. The training camp currently has its first course of trainees.
