Text
editGeorge Stigleman. George Stigleman, well known pioneer photographer of Richmond, died at a hospital in Santa Barbara, California, on Wednesday morning, according to word received here by Mrs. Ed Stigleman, sister-in-law. Mr. Stigleman was the son of George W. Stigleman, also a photographer who died over 40 years ago. The older Mr. Stigleman maintained two studios here, one at the corner of Sixth and Main street, and another at the place now occupied by the Palais Royal, which were later used by the younger Stigleman. Mr. Stigleman was the inventor of the process for enlarging photographs.
