Description
English: Casting of German altar during WWI for open air celebrations. From Varvinay-Valbois (Meuse, France) and preserved in the archeological museum of Strasbourg (Bas-Rhin, France). It shows the Alpha & Omega symbol of the beginning and the end of every thing.
Français : Moulage d'autel allemand de la Première Guerre Mondiale pour des célébrations en plein air du 120e régiment d'infanterie de la landwehr. Provenant de Varvinay-Valbois (Meuse) et conservé au Musée archéologique de Strasbourg. Il porte les lettres Alpha et Omega symbole du début et de la fin de toutes choses.
