English: Gable stone, Jansstraat, Haarlem, Netherlands. This gable stone is above a former gateway built in 1624 that belonged to the women's hospital and hofje founded in 1435 called the "St Barbara Gasthuis". Only the door and the gable stone remain after demolition in 1845, which today is protected as a National Heritage site.
