Description
English: Gliding motility of C. lytica CECT 8139 observed at colony edges by phase contrast microscopy. The bacterium was grown on Cytophaga agar medium and movements were recorded during 1 minute (one photo every three seconds). Gliding reverse movements were visible. Motility was reduced in the central parts of the colony.
