日本語: 進斎「五段目 勘平のはたらき」、二枚続大判錦絵、市川竹太郎版、明治十年五月廿四日御届。 明治初期の士族による反乱を仮名手本忠臣蔵の5段目に擬えた錦絵、早野勘平（明治政府）が多数の獣（士族の反乱）を狩る様子を描く。
English: Act 5, Kampei's work (Godamme kampei no hataraki), woodblock print. This ukiyo-e print expresses the rebellions of samurai in the early Meiji period which is a parody of the act 5 from "Kanadehon Chūshingura".
