Description
Deutsch: Ehrengrab des Chemikers und Univ-Assistenten am Ersten Chemischen Institut Kurt Horeischy am Baumgartner Friedhof in Wien-Penzing, Gruppe E1, Grab 170. Kurt Horeischy war im 2. Weltkrieg Mitglied der Widerstandsgruppe "Tomsk", und wurde am 5.4.1945 beim Versuch eines der beiden österreichischen Elektronenmikroskope vor der Zerstörung (im Zuge des Rückzugs vor den anrückenden Russen) zu bewahren durch den Institutsdirektor Jörn Lange erschossen.[1]
