Description Members of the U.S. Marines take part in the graveside service for Marine Pvt. Harry K. Tye at Arlington National Cemetery, March 28, 2017, in Arlington, Va. He took part in the fighting on the island of Betio in the Tarawa Atoll of the Gilbert Islands, dying on the first day of the battle, Nov. 20, 1943.
