Description
English: Photographer's caption: "The Great Ball Court. So named because it is the largest ever found in the Maya area. It is 500 feet long, 119 feet wide between the walls which are 39 feet thick at the base and 28 feet high. The ring on the wall was for playing pok-a-pok a game somewhat like basket ball."
