Description

37419 and 37425 head towards Cantley with the 2C55 1114 Great Yarmouth to Norwich service. The train runs non stop, but is seen accelerating away from Reedham, having negotiated the junction pointwork there.

I lived in Reedham until I was 10, and spent many hours at the station observing the trains, and my bedroom window overlooked the railway line at the point at which the Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth lines divided. It was almost like going back in time to see a passenger train hauled by a Class 37 passing through the station. The overall scene here has changed very little, and the semaphore signals - each with their own character, live on - for now at least. The station itself is in good condition and looks very smart.
