English: : Great Church or Saint Stephen parish-church. Tympanum with the coat of arms of Károly Esterházy on the ledge. The towers connected by pediment include rectangular windows on both end. Attic with vases. On the attic statue of Saint Sttephen martyr and angels, the church was named after him. - Fő Square, Downtown, Pápa, Veszprém County,Hungary.

Die sowohl aus kirchlicher als künstlicher Sicht unvergleicbaren Vorstellungen das Egreer Bischofs Graf Károly Esterházy wurden durch Jakab Fellner Bein Entwerfen der Pläne der katholische Kirche verwirklicht. Das monumentale Gebäude ist als bedeutendsten Kunstwerk seiner Zeit bekannt. Die riesigen Türme und die ässere Verzierung sind wenigstens so merkenswert wie die von hervorragenden Meistern gehaunten innere Statuen un das Deckenfresko von Maulberts. Magyar: : Nagytemplom avagy Szent István római katolikus plébániatemplom A főpárkányon fogazott keretezésű timpanon fekszik, Esterházy Károly kőcímerével. Mögötte a széleken egyenes záródású, erős kiülésű szemöldökös ablakokkal áttört magas oromfal köti össze a tornyokat, melyek harangszintje nem tömör, 4-4 sarokpillér és 8-8 oszlop töri át, háromrészes párkány zár, felettük törtvonalú sisakok, órákkal.
