'Promenade, Heroes' Monument' Local grade listed. Cellar line remodelled to a memorial place. The installation of the heroic monument took place simultaneously with the reconstruction of the center of the village. The "7 cellars there should be leveled and the space between them filled, because the current state cannot be said to be beautiful". The "promonade" (Promenade) was finally completed in 1937. The World War I memorial and the National Flag memorial were placed here -The heroic monument has been continuously erected since the first half of the twentieth century (1897, 1930, 1948, 1989). In the opening of the central axis, presumably an eighteenth-century gate frame is built into the middle, and in the niche a stone tablet records the history of Dömös (inscription: Dömös was a frequent residence of the kings of Árpád dynasty./Traces of the castle of Árpád preserve the memory of the prince./During Béla I's council held here in 1063, his throne collapsed and he was mortally wounded/ King Ladislaus I went to war from here in 1087./Prince Álmos founded a provostship in Dömös in 1107 and built a monastery. King Kálmán had Álmos blinded and imprisoned here in 1113, together with his son, the future Béla II of Hungary (the Blind)./The remains of the Árpád-era palace and provost's undercroft can still be seen today.//Council of Dömös Municipality/1989). In the retaining wall there are old cellar entrances. On both sides are stone tablets with the names of those killed in World Wars I and II. - Heroes' Square, Kossuth Lajos Road (Road 11), Dömös, Komárom-Esztergom County, Hungary.

'27 Kossuth Lajos út hrsz.: 919/3 promenád, Hősök emlékműve' sorszámon/címen/néven Dömös község önkormányzata képvislő testületének 16/2023. (VII. 06.) Önkormányzati rendelete alapján helyi védelem alatt álló objektum azonosító nem ismert. - Hősök emlékműve a XX. század első felétől folyamatosan kialakítva (1897, 1930, 1948, 1989). A középtengely nyílásában feltehetően másodlagosan egy XVIII. századi kapukeret van beépítve, a fülkében Dömös történetét örökíti meg egy kőtábla (felirata: Dömös az Árpádházi királyok gyakori tartozlkodási helye volt./Árpád várának nyomai a fejedelem emlékét örzik./ I. Béla király 1063-ban itt tartott tanácskkozása közben a trónja összedült és ő halálosan megsebesült/Szent László király 1087-ben innen indult hadba./Álmos herceg 1107-ben Dömösön prépostságot alapított, monostort építtetett. Kálmán király itt vakítatta meg és tartotta fogva 1113-ban fogva Álmost, fiával, a későbbi II. (vak) Bélával együtt./Az Árpádkori palota és prépostsági altemplom maradványai ma is láthatók.//Dömös Község Tanácsa/1989). A támfalban régi pince bejáratok találhatók. Kétoldalt kőtáblák az I. és II. világháborúban elesettek neveivel. - A hősi emlékmű felállítása összefonódott a falu központjának rendezésével. Az ott lévő „7 pincét egy szintbe hozni, a köztük lévő helyet feltölteni kellene, mert a mostani állapot szépnek nem mondható”. A „promonád” végül 1937-ben készült el.
