Nederlands: N.B. De rijweg Lijnpad bestond niet meer toen in 1665 de grachten van de westelijke stadsuitleg waren gegraven. De naam Lijnpad was ook de benaming voor het gerecht aan de westzijde van Utrecht. Het is evenwel niet duidelijk vanaf welk punt de tekenaar dit gezicht op de stad heeft gemaakt.
