Nederlands: Gezicht op de Oudegracht te Utrecht bij de Stadhuisbrug met de voorgevels van de huizen aan de noordzijde van de gracht en de Ganzenmarkt, met links het huis Rutenberg en in het midden het St. Barbara- en St.-Laurensgasthuis, en rechts de hoek van het huis Keijserrijk, met op de voorgrond de stadskraan. De huizen Rutenberg en het St. Barbara- en Laurensgasthuis, later de Winkel van Sinkel, heeft sinds 1917 het adres Oudegracht 158.

Nederlands: Schetstekening van H.A.F.A. Gobius (1815-1899). Op de achterkant staan diverse figuurstudies in potlood. Datering: tussen 1813 en 1816 was het St. Barbara- en Laurensgasthuis in gebruik als hospitaal voor Russische en Pruisische soldaten. In 1837 werd het gasthuis afgebroken voor de bouw van de Winkel van Sinkel.
