Nederlands: Profiel van de stad Utrecht uit het noordwesten gezien. De tekenaar stond ergens tussen de Daalsedijk en de Vecht. Van links naar rechts zijn te herkennen: het St.-Antoniusgasthuis, huizen van de Bemuurde Weerd, de Plompetoren, de stadsvolmolen op de hoek van het Zwarte Water en de Oosterstroom, de Janskerk, de molen De Kogel op de noordwestelijke hoek van de Bemuurde Weerd, de molen Klaarwater op het bastion Morgenster, de Domkerk en -toren, de toren van de Jacobikerk, de toren van de Buurkerk, de Mariakerk, de molens De Meiboom op het Paardenveld en De Fortuin op het noordwestelijke bastion van kasteel Vredenburg, het St.-Jobsgasthuis en de molen De Kat aan de Vleutenseweg.

Notes
Nederlands: Ten aanzien van de datering: in 1745 was de molen Rijn en Zon op het Paardenveld in aanbouw en hier nog niet zichtbaar. Vergelijk nrs. 36215 en 36217. De tekening kan na het voltooien van de bouw van De Meiboom in 1744 zijn gemaakt. De molen uiterst rechts is de molen De Kat aan de Vleutenseweg die hier nog een houten standerdmolen was, maar in 1746 als hoge stenen molen zou worden herbouwd.
