Beschrijving : [Haven van Tandjong Priok? Vooraan ligt de S.S. "Melchior Treub"
Annotatie : Repronegatief. Gebouwd door de werf Fyenoord te Rotterdam. In 1913 in Indië in dienst gesteld door de KPM. In februari 1942 vercharterd aan het Britse ministerie van War Transport, vanaf 1943 als hospitaalschip in de golf van Bengalen. In oktober 1945 weer overgedragen aan de KPM. In 1948 te Hong Kong gesloopt. Vernoemd naar de botanicus Melchior Treub (1851-1910), van 1880 tot 1909 directeur van 's-Lands Plantentuin te Buitenzorg
