Mai 1937 am Hochschwab in der Steiermark), österreichischer Bergsteiger und Skifahrer, als Schüler des reformpädagogischen Landerziehungsheims Schule am Meer auf der ostfriesischen Insel Juist in Preußen. Diese Freiluftschule besuchte er aufgrund seines Bronchialasthmas wegen des Nordsee-Reizklimas. Für die S.a.M. organisierte und leitete er jährliche Bergsteiger- und Skitouren durch die Dolomiten. 3. von links ist Heinz Zederbohm (* 19. Dezember 1912 in Charlottenburg bei Berlin), der mit Ulrich Sild zusammen das Abitur im März 1931 bestand.
English: Ulrich Sild (* 4 June, 1911 in Vienna, Austria-Hungary; † 9 May, 1937 at Hochschwab, Styria, Austria), Austrian mountaineer and skier, as a student of the reform boarding-school Schule am Meer on the East Frisian island Juist in Prussia. He attended this open-air school because of his bronchial asthma due to the stimulating North Sea climate. He organized annual mountaineer and ski tours through the Dolomites for this school. 3rd from the left is Heinz Zederbohm (* 19 December, 1912 in Charlottenburg near Berlin) who graduated at the same time as Ulrich Sild in March 1931.
