Description

How high is too far? by Erik Pevernagie, oil on canvas, (100 x 80 cm)

Life is a time span where people mostly do not see the wood for the trees. Where's Waldo? ; Where's Wally?

How high is too far? What are the limits of our actions? Do we visualize the right proportions in time, in space and personal relationships? Are we able to gauge possible transgressions in our human interactions?

Where's Waldo? , Where's Wally?

Are we sure we can bring our actions in line with the expectations of the others? Do we succeed in making acts and facts meet without destroying the core in our human relations?

Where's Waldo? , Where's Wally?

Do we find the accurate answers to the numerous questions that we have assembled throughout our life, how can we prevent our perception from contradicting the reality of the world of our daily experience and how will we find out the actual standards to measure the soundness of our assumptions.

Whichever way, no matter how we ponder, we have no other choice than keeping on looking for Waldo or Wally.

How high is too far?
