English: Hugo Vogel: Reception of the refugees (Huguenots) by the Great Elector at Potsdam Palace, 1685. Pictured: The Great Elector, behind him is the Electress, on the left is Crown Prince Frederick, later King Friedrich I of Prussia, along with his wife and entourage. On the right, the individual with the extensive headgear is Privy Councilor Joachim Ernst von Grumbkow. The old gentleman getting out of the litter in the back is David Ancillon the Elder.
