These two images by Lorenzo quinn are of the same art sculpture but give of a totally different feel to me... They were taken at the Halcyon gallery in New Bond Street, which is well worth a visit in my book,as i love his work' this piece is entitled..GAIA

Artist's notes...

I often think of how precarious our existence is in this immense Universe: For life to exist there’s an innumerable set of coincidences that without which we could not survive. We are constantly at the mercy of a much grander force.

The Universe is to us like a mother to a child for whom her love and daily care are needed for his survival.
