Békéscsabai Kazinczy Ferenc Primary School. Former names: Slovak Language Primary School and Slovak High School; Primary School No. 2; State Elementary People's School. The first public elementary school of Békéscsaba opened in 1899 with 110 boys and 118 girls in the old building of the algimnasyum/~sub high school/ (Baross u. 3.). In 1902, based on the plans of Gusztáv Ádám and Sándor Zamecsnik, a two-storey school building with 12 classrooms was built in Irányi Street. Education began with 256 male and 309 female pupils. During World War I it was a military hospital. Between 1979 and 1981 a large, modern, completely different style of the building (wing) was built. - Hungarian-Slovak memorial plaque on the façade: "The Slovak Language of Instruction Primary School and the Slovak High School operated in this building between 1949 and 1957//The memorial plaque was erected by former students on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the school's foundation." next to it is another black granite plaque : "Built by social cooperation in 1981" 3. Facade brown-red plaque: "In honor of the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the school/Primary School No. 2 City Protection and Beautification Association//May 16, 2003. - 14 Irányi Street (Luther Street corner), Downtown, Békéscsaba, Békés County, Hungary.

Békéscsabai Kazinczy Ferenc Általános Iskola OM azonosító szám: 028254. 2023-ban 25 osztályos iskola. - Békéscsaba első állami elemi népiskolája 1899-ben,- 110 fiú és 118 lány tanulóval ,-az algimnázium régi épületében nyitott (Baross u. 3.). 1902-ben Ádám Gusztáv és Zamecsnik Sándor tervei alapján emeletes 12 tantermes iskolaépület épült az Irányi utcában. 256 fiú és 309 leány tanulóval kezdődött az oktatás. I világháború idején katonai kórház volt. 1979 és 1981 között modern teljesen eltérő stílusú (nagyobbik) épületrészépült.
