Description

Marble altar with depictions of Mars and Venus and of Romulus and Remus suckled by the wolf. This is found the square of Corporations.

I entered Ostia at 8:30 am, first person into the site. I left at 2:30 pm (had no lunch) I had to start my tour at 4:30 pm back at the hotel. I missed some of the things that are there but did manage to see most of it. This is the best Roman site I have every visited and there are very few restrictions limiting access to the buildings. I recommend it to anyone who has a interest in history and is visiting Rome.

This was the highlight of my Italy trip and was not part of the tour that I was here to take. I hope you enjoyed this part (Ostia).
