Description
English: Business correspondence on postcards in Japan during Meiji 20s to 30s, or 1880s to 1900s.
  • The left was posted circa 1881 in Arakichō in present day Shinjuku to Ōdo Kenichi at Watanabe medical clinic at Suidō (ja:水道 (文京区)) in present Bunkyō, Tokyo in November 1881. For adress details see Japan_postcards_verso_002.jpg (right)
  • The right was delivered circa 1900 to a business in Kōraibashi in downtown Osaka in May 1900. For the content of the messages see Japan_postcards_verso_002.jpg (left)
