'Type 94 Armoured Train' of the Imperial Japanese Army. On a cold December Sunday in 1945, we drove northwest from Seoul, Korea planning to visit the 38th Parallel again. We came upon this armored train on the way. Apparently, the Japanese had built it to help repel an invasion. We then drove across a river on a railroad bidge and had a friendly visit with the Russians. However, they wouldn't let us take any pictures. I found a cigar box of more Korean negatives today. I'm carrying the Kodak 16mm magazine camera in the photo. I think I've found the footage that I took that day. |
