Français : Plaque rectangulaire en porcelaine de Paris du milieu du XIXe siècle par Aurore Leclerc à décor polychrome d'un portrait de la comédienne Jeanne Arnould-Plessy ; signé en bas à droite : Are Leclerc d'après Pérignon ;
Provenance : Ancienne collection du docteur Armand Ripault, vente le 23 octobre 1955 Mademoiselle Aurore Leclerc travaille comme peintre de miniature sur porcelaine à Paris. Elle expose au Salon de 1822 un portrait sur porcelaine de la duchesse de Berry d'après Auguste Garneray et, en 1824, plusieurs œuvres du même genre. Mademoiselle Jeanne Arnould-Plessy (1819-1897) entre à la Comédie-Française en 1834 où elle connait un succès immédiat dans le rôle d'Emma de La Fille d'honneur d'Alexandre Duval. Après un séjour à Londres, elle s'installe dix ans à Saint-Pétersbourg où elle joue au Théâtre Français et enchante l'empereur Nicolas Ier. Elle retourne à Paris en 1855 et est réintégrée à la Comédie-Française jusqu'en 1876 |
