Nederlands: Sinds dit jaar dragen ook een ecoduct en een brug de namen van gesneuvelde militairen, omgekomen bij een bermbomincident in 2010.
Beide mannen kwamen om het leven tijdens hun inzet in het Afghaanse Uruzgan. Het gaat om marinier der eerste klasse Marc Harders, wiens naam nu prijkt op de overspanning over de A28 bij Spier. Hij werd 23 jaar. De ander is korporaal van de mariniers Jeroen Houweling. Zijn naam wordt in ere gehouden op een brug boven de A7 bij Purmerend. Marinier Houweling werd 29 jaar. |
