There used to be jobs for the Haringey Council staff who worked in the old Protheroe House (on the same site).

The former residents were moved out of the old building. ("Decanted" is the word often used by Housing staff. Fine old wine into different bottles.)

From the residents' point of view the new building with its pleasant facilities may meet people's their needs as well as or better than the previous building and its staffing.

I've been to "The Larder" cafe. But I know other people who've been shown round the building and were very impressed. So a widening circle of positive impressions.

Their Wikipedia entry gives some contrasting background information. Including criticisms by the Social Housing Regulator about Governance. (Subsequently tackled.) And in 2015, concern about "exposure, within the group’s "business plan on sales receipts, from both shared ownership and, more significantly, market sales activity".

I assume that means their business model may rely too much on the rising values of the property market in London. Read more here.
