Fotograf: Eirik Sundvor (1902 - 1992). Bildet viser idrettsmannen <a href="http://no.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johan_St%c3%b8a" rel="nofollow">Johan Støa</a> (1900 - 1991) mens han går styrkeprøven mellom Trondheim og Oslo. Distansen ble tilbakelagt på rekordtiden 4 dager, 21 timer og 3 minutter. I bakgrunnen Mjøsa. Eirik Sundvor (1902 - 1992) var journalist i <a href="http://no.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nidaros_(avis)" rel="nofollow">Avisa Nidaros</a> 1924 - 1940 og 1945 - ca. 1957. Sundvor flyktet til England med sin kone under krigen. Der var han redaksjonssekretær i Norsk Tidend i London. Sundvor hadde god kjennskap til russisk, og ble derfor sendt som major med <a href="http://www.regjeringen.no/nb/dep/hod/dok/NOUer/1998/NOU-1998-12/26/5/1.html?id=375557" rel="nofollow">oberst Arne Dahls ekspedisjon til Finnmark</a> i 1944 / 1945. Sundvor stod for utgivelsen av den første frie norske avis i Finnmark i 1945. Etter at Avisa Nidaros gikk inn som dagsavis flyttet han tilbake til Bergen, hvor han opprinnelig kom fra. Her virket han som korrespondent for Dagbladet i Vest-Norge. The photo shows the athlete <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johan_St%c3%b8a_(sportsperson)" rel="nofollow">Johan Støa</a> whilst walking the tour de force distance Trondheim - Oslo at the record time of 4 days, 21 hours and 3 minutes in 1933. In the background <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mj%c3%b8sa" rel="nofollow">Lake Mjøsa</a>. Photographer Eirik Sundvor (1902 - 1992) was a journalist for the newspaper Nidaros 1924 - 1940 and 1945 - ca. 1957. Sundvor escaped to England as a refugee together with his wife during WW2. In England he was editorial secretary of the norwegian exile government's newspaper Norsk Tidend in London. Sundvor had a good knowledge of russian, and was therefore sent as a major together with the norwegian expeditionary forces to Finnmark 1944 - 1945. When the newspaper Nidaros went bankrupt in 1957, he moved back to Bergen where he originated from. From Bergen he functioned as a correspondent to the Oslo-newspaper Dagbladet. |
