English: Caption text says "Johnny Mostil, better known as the "Whiting flash", who until last year was one of the best outfielders of the big leagues, proved yesterday that he is the Mostil of old. He registered eleven putouts in center field for the White Sox, which ties the big league record. He also featured at bat, scoring the run which defeated Cleveland."
