English: Trans-Atlantic permits handed out. Washington, D.C., April 20. The Dept. of Commerce today awarded permits to the Pan American Airways from Great Britain, Canada and the Irish Free State. These permits are all non-exclusive and convey flying rights in and out of these countries for Trans-Atlantic Air service between New York and London.
