Description
English: Installment of Tad Dorgan's Prohibition-era comic strip, "Judge Rummy". Two friends invite Judge Rummy to a party, but warn him that they have insufficient alcohol. In response, Judge Rummy orders police officers to raid several blind tigers and give him all the alcohol they find.
Panel 1

Friend 1: It's gonna be some party judge – Ruth, Fannie, Tot, Edna and the whole gang will be there
Friend 2: Yep – Bunk and I saw them all today
Judge Rummy: Oh – boy – I'll be there with my hair in a braid.
Panel 2
Friend 1: But we're shy of hooch – all we got is one quart of sherry
Judge Rummy: Is that so–?
Friend 2: Yeah – everybody seems to be out of it
Panel 3
Judge Rummy: There have been too many complaints about blind tigers in this district – I want you to raid every one of them today.

Judge Rummy: And – bring the evidence right here to me today – I'll do the rest.
